The Journeyman's Tale: From James Gang to Eagles

It is with profound sorrow that we mark the passing of a true legend in the realm of rock and roll, Randy Meisner, former bassist and founding member of The Eagles. Meisner passed away peacefully on July 27, 2023. He was 77.

Born on March 8, 1946, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Randy found his calling in music at an early age. By the time he was a teenager, he was immersed in the local music scene, playing in a variety of bands and honing the skills that would eventually propel him to the global stage.

Grateful Web is thrilled to announce that legendary rock band, The Eagles, will bid adieu to their illustrious music journey with "The Long Goodbye - The Final Tour". This historic event will take place on September 7 at the iconic Madison Square Garden. In an unprecedented pairing, the tour will also feature a special guest, the critically acclaimed band Steely Dan.
