Denver has quickly become a hot pocket for the live music scene and there’s one local band taking notice of the unparalleled talent popping up around town; that’s Fox Street. For their second year in a row, the Denver locals will take over the historic Bluebird Theater during New Year's Eve weekend, this time curating three nights of unique musical performances, all by local musicians.

We are thrilled announce that Fox Street will home this year and will be playing December 30th and 31st at the Bluebird theater.  We have planned two completely different nights of music and antics that you will not want to miss!

This past Friday night at the Gothic Theatre in Denver, CO, two bands collided to make one of the funkiest sounds and meaningful tributes to other artists that they have ever made. The energy in the room was evident by the crowd’s fearless dancing. These are two of the fastest-rising bands in our music scene, and together with some special guests, they produced. Analog Son was created by guitarist Jordan Linit (Kinetix, Ableminds) and bassist Josh Fairman (Kinetix).

Denver’s local funky blues-rockers, Fox Street, are excited to announce their headlining show at legendary Denver venue, the Gothic Theatre, on January 15th, 2016. This will be the band’s first time headlining a venue this size, and invite old friends and fellow local band, Analog Son, as direct support on the bill. Doors open at 8 PM and music starts at 9.

Fox Street is one of those bands I wouldn’t expect to be based in Colorado. Florida possibly, Texas I could see, but Colorado is a bit of a wildcard. Maybe it’s Jonathan Huvards’ throat churning, rocky road vocals. Then again it could be the picking, sliding and stomping of their close-knit instrumental unit that screams southern roots.

Denver’s Fox Street Allstars (FSAS) are back on tour behind their highly acclaimed sophomore album Tough Talk and have announced their Fall 2013 Cowboys & Astronauts Tour. The tour will see the band return to Utah, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Alabama. Additional dates are expected to be announced soon including new Florida shows and a return to Texas in November.
