The Jauntee have announced a release date for their forthcoming album, Always Never Knowing. Over the last few years, the improvisational foursome have grown notorious for being cross-country road warriors on what seems like a never ending tour. In an attempt to mirror that live experience, the band went into the studio last year in their hometown of Boston to record a new album in front of an intimate live audience.

The Jauntee are getting ready to embark on a 30-date nation-wide tour that has the improvisational band on the road through the end of June. They'll be returning to some staple markets, including stops in their former hometowns of Gettysburg and Boston, and a two-night run in Cincinnati. They'll also be making several festival appearances throughout the tour, including their tour kick-off show at TheBigWonderful, Beanstalk, and ARISE.

NYC trio Consider the Source defy easy description. If intergalactic beings of pure energy, after initiation into an order of whirling dervishes, built some kind of pan-dimensional booty-shaking engine, powered by psychedelics and abstract math, it’d probably just sound like a CTS tribute band. Drawing from progressive rock, fusion and jazz, with alien sounds soaked in Indian and Middle Eastern styles, CTS blends disparate parts into a striking, utterly original whole.

Road warriors, The Jauntee have just released a new LIVE JAUNT recording ahead of their Winter 2017 tour. The show took place in Atlanta, GA at Aisle 5 on July 1, 2017.

Road warriors,The Jauntee have just announced a national fall tour on the heels of their summer midwest run. The band will depart Colorado after playing a few shows in their new backyard and hit a number of markets on their cross country jaunt. They will return to some of their.

The Friday and Saturday event will take place at On Key Psychedelic Ripple. Sneaky Pete and The Secret Weapons will join the band on Friday for rotating sets and there are still a number of artists to be announced throughout the weekend.

Hot in the middle of an East Coast tour, Boston’s own The Jauntee will be recording their follow up album to Excelsior in an undisclosed studio location in Cambridge next week. The event will take place July 12 and 13 in a secret location and tickets will also include special perks for the night. Hot off a Midwest and Colorado run, Boston’s own The Jauntee are once again touring the East Coast this Summer. The dynamic, improvisational quartet have been stacking up the miles over the last few tours and this one is no different. The Jauntee will see return dates at venues like American Beauty in NYC, The Camel in Richmond, and Aisle 5 in Atlanta, and a bi-weekly residency in July at The 8x10 in Baltimore. The band’s long awaited return to Florida and a late-night set at this year’s Peach Festival have also been announced.

Averaging over one hundred shows a year – The Jauntee has quickly made a name for themselves in the New England music scene. Hailing from Boston, they’ve solidified a dedicated following in the Northeast, playing most staple venues in the area (ie. Paradise Rock Club, Nectar’s, The Spot Underground, Stone Church).
