Since 1996, John Brown’s Body has been at the forefront of the American reggae scene, blazing paths with its patented Future Roots sound. American reggae music pioneers John Brown’s Body have announced the beginnings of a winter tour with shows scheduled up and down the East Coast. The ‘future roots’ band will begin their tour in Portland, ME, at Port City Music Hall and continue on to Higher Ground in Burlington, VT and then to the Paradise Rock Club in Boston. Joining JBB on all three dates are friends Pimps of Joytime.

John Brown’s Body's Kings And Queens has debuted at #1 on the Billboard and iTunes Reggae charts. Kings And Queens (released April 16, 2013 on Easy Star Records) is the band’s eighth studio album and most ambitious release to date, encompassing the entire history of the band’s sound and legacy. The album debuted impressively on other Billboard charts including #23 on the Heatseekers Chart, #4 on Northeast New Artist Chart, and #188 on the Top 200 Digital albums, amongst others.
