Reggae roots ran deep last Saturday night at Denver’s Cervantes’ Otherside, as local and national acts alike took the stage together to celebrate life, love and the beauty we know as reggae music. On the south side of Omaha, off the beaten path, lies Sokol Park.  This "campitheater" is home to multiple local and regional festivals, and also a concert idea of which I've never encountered elsewhere.  Camping is included with purchase of a concert ticket, giving all concerts a heavy music festival atmosphere, even if it is only for one night.  The reggae-tronic dub band from Minneapolis, Jon Wayne and the Pain, is the true definition of road w

Amidst a deep, emerald forest on the coast of Michigan's lower peninsula lies an extraordinary musical sanctuary; a ranch turned psychedelic playground which plays host to one of the world’s most premier music festivals, a place where thousands of fans from across the country come to experience the one-of-a-kind atmosphere that can only be captured in the deep woods of Rothbury.

Step inside the mysterious realm of Rothbury and you will find yourself inside a music festival unlike any other in existence.

Blending a unique variety of roots reggae, rock n’ roll, and electronic dub, Minneapolis-based trio Jon Wayne and The Pain brought their signature “Reggae-Tronic Dub” sound to the beautiful grounds of Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois this past weekend for an unforgettable performance at the annual Summer Camp Music Festival.

Minneapolis-based reggae-rockers Jon Wayne & The Pain will bring their distinctive blend of psychedelic reggae and electronic dub to Northwestern cities across the U.S. this winter, ending with a few special stops in Colorado. Jon Wayne & The Pain are the ultimate coast-to-coast road warriors who have played an average of 20 shows per month over the last three years and are showing no signs of slowing down.
