Blackbird Presents is proud to announce its annual “Second Weekend at the Saenger” concert series with “New Orleans Is Waiting For Columbus,” set to take place Saturday, May 6^th at New Orleans’ historic Saenger Theatre. The all-star event celebrates Little Feat’s most beloved album in their expansive catalog with never-before-heard performances from a unique lineup of artists including musical director Warren Haynes, Jamey Johnson, Dave Malone, John Medeski, Don Was, Terence Higgins, Mark Mullins and many more special guests to be announced.

This year slamgrass pioneers Leftover Salmon celebrate their twenty-fifth anniversary. Beyond the musical splendor, a blend of Cajun, bluegrass, zydeco, and hard psychedelic rock, is a lovable raucousness. Their triumphant resurgence into fulltime touring has been strengthened by the presence of founding Little Feat pianist Bill Payne.

The Rex Foundation is pleased to announce its return to San Francisco's historic Fillmore Auditorium for its annual benefit concert on December 6, 2014.

FRED TACKETT and PAUL BARRERE of LITTLE FEAT and New Orleans Suspects will perform at Cervantes' Other Side on Friday, November 7th and Saturday, November 8th.   Doors will open at 8:00 P.M.  Showtime is 9:00 P.M.   This is open to patrons 16 and over.   Tickets are $20.00 in advance and $25.00 day of show.

Leftover Salmon is thrilled to announce that on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 their 2004  album, Leftover Salmon, will be available digitally for the first time on all major digital outlets. "The self-titled work was a collaboration with producer-friend Bill Payne of Little Feat.

One of the greatest qualities of Colorado’s Cajun Slamgrass legends Leftover Salmon is their ability to evolve with sincere versatility. Founding members Vince Herman and Drew Emmitt have taken the band to higher creative peaks, with new material (the fantastic Aquatic Hitchhiker release) and welcoming great musicians in that really understand how to play their demanding style while also kicking back and parting with their crowd.

Certain casual fans of the Creole Rock Granddaddy Jamband Little Feat may be under the false impression that the band’s true color died along with founding guitarist, singer, de-facto bandleader Lowell George in 1979.

Leftover Salmon is thrilled to welcome special guest Bill Payne (of Little Feat) to their Thanksgiving shows at the Boulder Theater and to the New Year's shows at Park City Live in Utah and the Neptune Theatre in Seattle, WA. Fruition will also join the festivities in Seattle.
