Passafire

On April 24th, 2020 Wes Anderson will release his 6th self-produced single titled Mind Quarantine. Like every Anderson single, there is an impressive and eclectic mix of guest artists contributing to the track, including Ted Bowne from the progressive reggae/rock outfit Passafire on vocals, and Tommy Sickles from nu-metal era pioneers Nothingface delivering a precise, thunderous drum performance. Lastly, on bass is Wes’s old bandmate from Shanghai Superstars fame Mark Lewandowski.

Progressive reggae-rock pioneers Passafire have released Longshot, their sixth full-length album - and third release on indie reggae powerhouse Easy Star Records.

Progressive reggae-rock pioneers Passafire will be releasing Longshot, their sixth full-length album - and third release on indie reggae powerhouse Easy Star Records - on May 12. The record will be available for pre-order starting March 31st, which will include two advance songs, “Longshot” and “Blow.” Those songs will also be on Spotify and other streaming services. The band begins a co-headline tour with Ballyhoo! March 31st and has also been added to the bill on four 311 shows during their Summer Unity Tour.

Passafire’s Vines has debuted at #1 on the Billboard Reggae and iTunes Reggae charts. Vines, the band’s fifth studio album, "is Passafire's best,” according to Angelica Music.  The record was released November 11th and is the band’s debut release for leading reggae label Easy Star Records.  The album debuted impressively on other Billboard charts including #10 on the Heatseekers Chart, #57 on the Independent Releases, #1 on South Atlantic New Artist Chart, and #109 on the Top 200 Digital albums, amongst others.
