Dierks Bentley Heads to "Late Night" for Pearl Jam Tribute!

Award-winning singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley will represent country music while crossing genres tomorrow on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. As part of their week-long celebration for the release of Pearl Jam’s 10th studio album, members of Soundgarden, Avett Brothers and Fleet Foxes will precede Bentley’s performance Wednesday night alongside Pearl Jam’s lead guitarist Mike McCready and The Roots.
 

New Pearl Jam Album 'Lightning Bolt' Streets Oct. 15th

Pearl Jam will release their much-anticipated tenth studio album, Lightning Bolt, on Monkeywrench Records on October 15, 2013*. Produced by Brendan O’Brien, Lightning Bolt marks Pearl Jam’s first studio album since the highly acclaimed Backspacer, which was released nearly four years ago in September of 2009.

Pearl Jam Launches "Instant Classic" Bootleg Series

On September 30th, Pearl Jam returned for the first time in seven years to Missoula, MT to play a show. This energetic performance was in support of long-time friend Senator Jon Tester and was greeted with great enthusiasm by the Adams Center's sell-out crowd. Shortly after finishing the show, the band declared it an "Instant Classic" and asked that it be made available quickly to the fans and for a limited time at a special price.

DeLuna Fest Daily Lineup and New Amenities

DeLuna Fest is proud to announce the daily performance schedule for their third annual music and beach festival. Headlining the festival Friday, September 21st, Pearl Jam will be joined by Ben Folds Five, Gaslight Anthem, Trampled by Turtles and DJ Jazzy Jeff.

Zac Brown Band Added to Already Stellar Deluna Fest Lineup

Two-time Grammy Award winners and multi-platinum artists Zac Brown Band have been added to the 2012 DeLuna Fest lineup. Set upon the sandy white beaches of Pensacola Beach, FL, Zac Brown Band will take DeLuna Fest’s oceanfront main stage the weekend of September 21 – 23, 2012. Also joining the lineup are Fitz and the Tantrums, Honey Island Swamp Band, The Canvas Waiting, Astronautalis, High On Fire, Brass-A-Holics and a Sunday Gospel Brunch set from The Legendary JCs.

Free Yr Radio, KEXP on Radio New York + DFA Team Up For CMJ Showcase

Toyota’s Free Yr Radio will be making its mark on CMJ this year as it partners with KEXP for a DFA Records showcase on Thursday, October 22nd at The Brooklyn Bowl. The showcase, featuring YACHT (live), Special Disco Version (James Murphy and Patrick Mahoney of LCD Soundsystem), Still Going, Holy Ghost!, and Sh*t Robot will benefit KEXP 91.5 FM on Radio New York.

Outside Lands 2009 Part II | Review

Anybody hoping for last year’s incredible lineup that featured Tom Petty and Steve Winwood playing on the same day and also sharing the stage for a few tunes was bound to be disappointed with this year’s lineup. Day 1 of the Outside Lands seemed a little small for a festival, but that may have been because there were so many stages with up to five bands performing at once, sometimes in different areas of Golden Gate Park. Then again when Pearl Jam began it’s final set of the night.
