This weekend Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and Juno What?! will bring two nights of funk to Colorado's Front Range. The acts will kick off the weekend in Denver at the Gothic Theater Friday night followed by a show at Boulder's Fox Theater Saturday.

Rising electro-funk act Pigeons Playing Ping Pong has released a dense batch of spring tour dates that spans the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, Southeast and Mid-West.

Electro-funk act Pigeons Playing Ping Pong have announced their first batch of tour dates for their 2015 Winter Tour. The tour includes multiple stops in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic, a returning slot at AURA Music & Arts Festival and 8 shows in Colorado.

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong might sound like a funny name, but their music is serious, ranging from funk to dance to electronic. On July 3, they released their second LP called “Psychology,” and right from the get go it brings the heat.

Baltimore-based electro-funk band, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong have released a track off their upcoming album entitled Psychology, which is set to release on July 3rd. “F.U.” features The Hornitz on bass trombone and alto saxophone and is available now on Grooveshark.Psychology is the band's second LP in four years. The foursome will celebrate the release at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC with Cabinet and B Side Shuffle.

F.U....N.K. But seriously, funk. It was the theme of late night at The Fox Theatre, Monday, March 17th. Coming all the way from Baltimore, Maryland, we had the honor of spending a night with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong on their twenty-five day tour, one of the funkiest, psychedelic, up and coming jam bands coming through this town.

Before and after the Pigeons Playing Ping Pong show on St Patrick’s Day, I had the opportunity to chat with the band's front man, Greg Ormont. In the past couple years, he and his three other band members have been touring extensively, playing spectacular shows, and have even founded their own festival, Domefest. If you haven't heard of them yet, I'd bet you will soon.

The third annual The Mad Tea Party Jam, presented by Appalachian Jamwich, takes place June 19-22 in Hedgesville, WV.  The music and arts festival will be headlined by Papadosio, two nights of The Werks, two nights of Dopapod, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, The Mantras and more.The event will host multiple stages, an electronic dance tent, and late night music to 5AM and later.  The arts will also be a prevalent component to the experience and patrons can enjoy looking through a transformative art gallery, exploring art installation

High-energy psychedelic funk outfit Pigeons Playing Ping Pong announced their return to Colorado and North Carolina this March, with stops in Indiana and Virginia along the way. With eight shows in Colorado starting March 4th, the tour includes two nights in Denver, two nights in Telluride and a special St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Monday March 17th at The Fox Theater in Boulder.
