Raging Fyah

Grammy nominated Raging Fyah is kicking off their U.S. tour this week. They are supporting their latest single/video “Better Tomorrow” that premiered at Relix earlier in the year and was released on all digital service providers in late March. The band will also be performing at VP Records 40th anniversary event happening on August 10th at Central Park SummerStage.

Grammy-nominated reggae act Raging Fyah has traveled far from their home of Kingston Jamaica to spread their message. One of modern-day Jamaica’s most popular and successful bands, they have had no lack of a platform to display their music. Their classic sound is a constant reminder of the roots that founded reggae music. An interpretation of a genre that is untainted and pure focusing on themes of spirituality delivered with an optimistic view.

VP Records is pleased to announce that Raging Fyah has been nominated for their acclaimed album Everlasting in the Best Reggae Album category at the 59th Grammys. The band continues to prove how their distinct roots reggae sound is making a major impact in the musical landscape.

On the heels of their first national U.S. tour with Stick Figure and Fortunate Youth, one of Jamaica’s most promising young acts Raging Fyah is gearing up for their debut album for Dub Rockers, entitled Everlasting. Following their previous self-released albums Judgement Day (2011) and Destiny (2014), Everlasting will be available for worldwide release on May 27, 2016.

Raging Fyah, one of Jamaica's most promising roots reggae bands of this generation, begins their U.S. Spring tour on March 1 in Denver, Colorado. The five-piece Kingston collective will join Stick Figure in mid-March until the end of April for the cross-country Set In Stone Tour. Raging Fyah will head back to the U.S. on May 29 to perform at the annual California Roots Music and Arts Festival. See full tour schedule below.
