The Shift Network (TSN), a global leader in transformational learning and events, presents an epic three-day free online festival, The Shift Music Festival and Visionaries Summit, September 17-19. World-renowned musicians and visionaries will unite for one purpose: to kick off the Shift Network’s goal of planting 1 MILLION TREES.

The last day of a festival is always bittersweet, but fans came to the fairgrounds early to take in as much of Cali Roots as they could. Day three began as festival goers trickled in just as New Kingston wrapped up their sound check. Walking through the gates of the fairgrounds with this live music already playing earlier than usual proved an uplifting and exciting experience to the festival. Starting the day with New Kingston set a positive tone for the rest of the day.

Kicking off their “Stay Human” tour,  Michael Franti & Spearhead had a soul shining performance at Red Rocks Amphitheater on June 1st.   The evening started off with Franti leading a yoga jam session at Red Rocks. Taking in all the beautiful views of Colorado, this put out some great vibes for the beautiful Colorado night.

One of Australia’s most unique ambassadors, Xavier Rudd, has always found a way to stay authentic and true to himself. A passionate musician, environmentalist, and cultural advocate, his ambitions carry an immense weight. Through his music, with a bold, resonant, and tribal sound he strives to pay tribute to his Aborigines heritage with every performance.

Experiencing these musicians in one of the most beautiful places to see live music, the Chautauqua Auditorium in Boulder, CO was a wonderful experience and a memory that will stay. The landscapes that surround the foothills of Boulder make an aesthetic canvas for a perfect evening. There were people having picnics on the lawn, while others threw Frisbees under the setting sun.

On Saturday, the third day of Wakarusa in Ozark, Arkansas, my morning began at about 5 am when I woke in my hammock being pelted with rain. Those who were still up, roaming the campsites like zombies, seemed to enjoy the cool rain dropping from the clouds. But me? I was tired and wet. Luckily, I managed to snag a little bit more shut-eye throughout the day so everything turned out alright.

This November 11, Boulder, Colorado’s Fox Theatre hosted Xavier Rudd, one of Australia’s most iconic voices, for the last American stop along his Spirit Bird Tour. Behind his custom drum set equipped with two didgeridoos, Xavier Rudd appeared like a mythic creature from an aborigine creation story. Rudd embodied the totem spirit vision as half-man and ecstatic bird with colossal tusks.

Z2 Entertainment is proud to present Xavier Rudd at the Fox Theatre on Sunday, November 11th.  Tickets will go on sale to the public on Saturday, July 14th for $25.00.

On his seventh studio album, Spirit Bird, Xavier Rudd’s gritty voice rises like dust from underneath the dancing feet along an ancestral Songline. In a modern world of industrial landscapes filled with neon signs, it’s hard to “imagine if the trees could tell us where to go.” Yet, Rudd introduces listeners to Australian Aboriginal mythology with songs such as “Creating a Dream”. Dreaming is the sacred era of ancestral Totemic Spirit Beings who formed The Creation.
