March 2013

I was very impressed with the message and playing abilities found on this second studio album released by the band WhiteWater Ramble. The band’s name specifies the style; beautiful, fluid, flowing music rambled with determination.

An unlikely collaboration between two roots music legends needed a proper introduction. Multi-instrumentalist, bandleader, and vocalist Sam Bush is second only to John Hartford the most influential player in creating the style of newgrass music. A progressive take on bluegrass that fused elements of rock, psychedelia, and reggae was developed in the late 1960s and became incredibly influential on generations of successors to come.

Trinity River Band is proud to announce their new Radio single release “Today It Don’t Look Like Rain,” that is also available to stations at AirPlay Direct. This beautiful new song, written by Jeff Barbra and Sarah Pirkle, is the title track from Trinity River Band’s album releasing April 30. The award winning singer-songwriter, Carl Jackson serves as Consulting Producer for the new project.

Tickets for Phish's 2013 Summer Tour go on sale to the general public beginning this Thursday, March 28th, with more onsales on the 29th and 30th.
