Jerilyn Lee Brandelius, one of the most colorful and beloved figures in the greater Grateful Dead family and the San Francisco rock and roll community, died August 31st in San Francisco from complications of a life well lived.

The excellence continues! Jorma Kaukonen's Quarantine Concert #21 will air this Saturday, September 5 at 8 p.m. ET from his Fur Peace Ranch Guitar Camp in Ohio.  These concerts are quality FREE live concerts... you are never quite sure what Jorma's answers to fan submitted questions will be or what songs he will sing out of his vast repertoire!  Through Jorma's experience with improvisation each song has its own impact. He draws from his many Jorma Kaukonen or Hot Tuna albums to bring you an intriguing evening of old songs, new tunes and even thoughtful poems.

With the cancellation of this year's Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion came the promise of a few "surprises" on what would have been festival weekend - and the Birthplace of Country Music (BCM, parent nonprofit of the annual event) is making good on it. 

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass announces its second round of musicians in this year’s Let The Music Play On, led by music legends and festival veterans Emmylou Harris, Buddy Miller, Steve Earle & the Halfgrass Dukes (feat. Tim O’Brien and Dennis Crouch) and returning artist The War and Treaty and first-timer Amythyst Kiah.
