FRETLAND’S debut self-titled album is out everywhere today. After what seemed like several lifetimes, the band is releasing their first studio record. Heading into release week, the band is top 5 most added in the Americana Radio Charts. On the streaming side, the band has 350K+ streams on already released tracks, all before their first album even dropped. Ahead of the release, Fretland received praise from outlets like American Songwriter, Americana Highways, Atwood Magazine, Billboard, The Bluegrass Situation, The Boot and many more.

The world today is not as the band had originally imagined when they first announced the new album back in the fall of 2019. None of that matters though. The sweetheart of a band has managed to win over the hearts of so many and has found early success with a tight-knit and supportive fanbase.

The family quilt of Americana music is long and well worn. With stitches that took hold hundreds of years ago, the legacy of forlorn lyrics sung over spare, twinkling instrumentation depicting long nights, whiskey glasses and love that too often walks out the door extends further than any can remember.
