Illuminate LIVE and the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department invite music lovers of all ages to the historic Bandshell at the Music Concourse for Crucial Reggae Sundays, a free, family-friendly reggae concert series every Sunday from 4:20 to 7:30 pm through mid-November. Hosted by local selectors Irie Dole (Jah Warrior Shelter Hi-Fi), Guidance (Infinite Guidance Sound/Nice Up Radio) and DJ Sep (Dub Mission), each afternoon features special guest performances alongside live DJ sets that celebrate the rich rhythms and positive vibes of reggae culture.

Over the past four years, Illuminate LIVE has transformed the 125-year-old Music Concourse Bandshell into a vibrant community stage, presenting more than 600 free concerts and drawing nearly one million visitors to Golden Gate Park. Crucial Reggae Sundays is part of Illuminate’s expansive free music series—more than 125 shows on Wednesday, Friday, Sunday and select Saturday afternoons—designed to enrich San Francisco’s public spaces through diverse musical genres and legendary performances.
