The Disco Biscuits Aron Magner to make solo debut at Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox

Magner’s show marks the first official show at Ophelia’s 2.0 since March 2020 with The Goonies.

Aron Magner from the Disco Biscuits is set to make his solo debut on Thursday, April 7th at Denver ‘s premiere music venue Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox. He will perform a live synth set of classic Biscuit songs and exploratory improvisation on a grand piano. Joining Magner is @djwmusic (Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe / Shots Fired) who will be opening the show on solo guitar. Tickets are available here.

Magner’s show marks the first official show at Ophelia’s 2.0 since March 2020 with The Goonies.

Ophelia's is one of Denver's most eclectic venues. It's a dinner club, live-music venue, and late-night party spot, offering diverse entertainment for Denver locals and tourists to enjoy.

On June 24, Round Records & ATO Records will release GarciaLive Volume Six: July 5, 1973 – Jerry Garcia & Merl Saunders, the latest installment of the celebrated GarciaLive archival series. The three-CD set was recorded at the 200 capacity Lion’s Share club formerly located in the small town of San Anselmo, CA, just 20 miles north of San Francisco. The performance features Jerry Garcia performing with friend, mentor and legendary keyboardist/vocalist Merl Saunders. The duo is joined by drummer Bill Vitt and bassist John Kahn, who soon became a lifelong Garcia collaborator.
