Today, Big Gigantic’s Dominic Lalli kicks off his solo career with the release of his brand new single, “Together”. The artist, producer, songwriter, and saxophonist seamlessly balances his role in one of the 21st century’s most prominent and prolific electronic music groups with instrumental jazz, covering an unprecedented sonic scope.

In “Together”, over a heavenly hum and sparse piano, he wails on the saxophone with a combination of eloquent phrasing and raw emotion.

Of the track, Lalli says:

"I wrote this song a couple of months ago in the middle of the global pandemic. I woke up feeling every feeling— every emotion— and just wrote it, recorded it from my home and posted it up online. It was very in the moment. I wrote that I found comfort knowing that we were all in this together and that hopefully we’d all come out of it a little stronger and as better humans.

Now, today, as the global pandemic lingers, we find ourselves in the midst of what has quickly become the largest civil rights movement in history. This is a breakthrough moment for humanity. I feel a sense of togetherness now, more than ever, and if we keep pushing we know we will finally start to see real change where we need it most. We are uniting our voices, working together and we won’t back down. I am learning more everyday how I can be a better ally, friend and collaborator to the BIPOC (Black & Indigenous People of Color) who have inspired my music & my life.

I hope this piece of music can provide a sense of healing & love as the fight continues."

All proceeds from this song will be donated directly to Black Lives Matter.
