Contests and Awards: Just a reminder that we will be accepting entries from November 1st - December 1st.
We cannot wait to see this year's entries. Over the last eleven years, our contest has exponentially grown from 20 flower submissions to over 250 flower entries last year; along with close to sixty solvent-less entries in 2013. It fills us with great joy to see so many individuals taking pride in their hard work and getting behind our message of promoting outdoor, organically-grown cannabis. We have such respect for all of you who enter; you all are truly the foundation of our event. Every year the Emerald Cup team is blown away by the quality of the medicine that is produced. We wish everyone a successful harvest. For contest rules and procedures please visit our website: www.theemeraldcup.com.

About The Emerald Cup: The Emerald Cup was founded by Tim Blake in 2003 to promote Northern California as the premier destination for medicinal marijuana, while advancing the concept of sustainable, outdoor farming. “Northern California is a region with one of the oldest and most established medicinal marijuana growing communities,” said Tim Blake. “We have endeavored to keep our methods and our product pure and free from toxins. As a group, we have amassed an enormous amount of experience and expertise, which we enjoy sharing with fellow farmers each year at The Emerald Cup.” The event is named for the area in Mendocino and Humboldt known as The Emerald Triangle, widely regarded for producing the world's finest cannabis. It is a community celebration honoring the year's finest, sun-grown, medicinal cannabis harvest. 2013 solidified The Emerald Cup’s reputation as the largest, most respected, organic, outdoor, medicinal cannabis competition in the world. From small beginnings in Laytonville over a decade ago, this event has now proven itself to be “The Definitive Cup for the Fall Harvest.”
