From January 14–18, 2026, the enchanting town of Todos Santos—just an hour north of Cabo San Lucas—will once again come alive with the Tropic of Cancer Festival. What began as a grassroots, SXSW-style gathering has grown into one of Baja’s most soulful music celebrations, and 2026 marks its most ambitious year yet: The Golden Jubilee.
Formed in East Nashville and now deeply connected to Todos Santos, Cordovas are the festival’s originators and guiding light. “From the beginning, Tropic of Cancer was about community,” says Joe Firstman of the Cordovas. “This town, this music, and this family we’ve built here are what make the festival so special. 2026 will be our biggest and most memorable year yet.”
Full Lineup Announced
The 2026 lineup brings together a dynamic mix of international stars and local gems, including:

Music, Community & Baja Spirit
Tropic of Cancer Music & Arts Festival welcomes all ages—music lovers, beach lovers, and anyone drawn to the magic of Baja. Beyond the stages, guests can explore the stunning beaches of Cerritos and Pescadero, savor local cuisine and art, and experience the warm hospitality that defines the region.
This year’s celebration also coincides with the 50th birthday of Scott Morrill, founder of Denver’s legendary Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom. “When I first came to Todos Santos, I fell in love with the laid-back nature, the beautiful scenery, and the welcoming community,” says Morrill. “Every time I return, it feels like home—and this year, I can’t imagine a better way to celebrate life than to invite everyone here for five days of joy, connection, and world-class music.”
