Fresh from Atlas Studios in Boulder Co, George Hunter recorded “Fool’s Gold” with Lifted Entertainment. Hunter wrote out a funk-flamenco fused pop burner about letting go of inhibition and going for what you really want.

George started playing music in middle school orchestra, and in high school played in the East High School Orchestra under the direction of jazz saxophonist Keith Oxman. He went on to play briefly with the MSU symphony before transferring majors. “I just got burnt out with the rigidity and competitiveness of classical music, and I wanted to explore different kinds of music.” Shortly after that Hunter joined with the Zuruna Middle Eastern Ensemble, and started playing at bluegrass and celtic jams around Colorado. Then George formed his first group called BANG! In 2014, and performed with several groups including Metafonics, Tito Malaga Band, The High Desert, Matt Rouch, Joel Ansett, A-Mac DZ, Gladys and others at venues including Cervantes Other Side, Globe Hall, Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox, and Syntax Physic Opera.

Supporting the first show for his newest solo project George has put together an all-star lineup.  The Wandering Woods is excited to bring their Funk, Jazz, Fusion back To Denver. Gladys coming fresh off of the release of their new EP “Improper Measurements”. Gaia's Groove is Roland Hansen’s (Formerly of Greener Grounds) newest project that is poised to take the world by storm.
