Founded in 2009 by bandleader Tyler Grant, the Cosmic Americana band Grant Farm will hit the road in January & February to the West Coast supporting their latest release, Kiss The Ground.

Kiss the Ground debuted at #5 on the Relix/Jamband.com chart and spent 8 weeks on the chart. This recording is the band’s first full-length concept album and its third album of original music. Speaking to the struggles we all face as working people, Kiss the Ground sends a positive message while acknowledging the real hardships imposed by a society that expects too much. “We think of this as our ode to the working people,” says Grant of the album’s lyrics, which express empathy for those for whom time outside of work is at a premium.

The second single from the new album, “Get In Line” discusses the high price we pay for the things we want in life. A recent review of their Music City Roots performance, Craig Havighurst stated, “They had three guys who sang impressive lead vocals. The songs were really good. Grant Farm headlining Red Rocks on a mountain summer night? It ought to happen and I’d buy a ticket.”

A sure bet for fans of innovative, genuine artists like Tedeschi Trucks, Sturgill Simpson, and Phish, Grant Farm is comprised of zany, fun-loving, musically educated members. Based in Boulder, Colo., members include Tyler Grant (aka “The Champ” for his status as National Flatpicking Guitar Champion) on lead guitar and vocals, Adrian “Ace” Engfer on bass and vocals, Sean “Magic” Macaulay on percussion, and Kevin “Money” McHugh on keys and vocals.

Grant also hosts “Meeting on the Mountain LIVE,” an exciting, collaborative, live-streaming YouTube concert series featuring Grant Farm as the house band. Archived episodes feature Dave Bruzza of Greensky Bluegrass, Bill Nershi of String Cheese Incident, The Dead Winter Carpenters, and other guests.
