Written by Joselyn Wilkinson and Don Barrozo, the song pays tribute to Don’s father, who emigrated from the Philippines to work on Montana’s Hi-Line railroad, building a new American dream. Directed by Nic Davis and produced/edited by Kaitlyn “Sulli” Sullivan, the video was filmed on location in Montana with support from the Grand Union Hotel, Museum of the Northern Great Plains, and the City of Fort Benton.

Workin’ the Hi-Line has already earned early praise, with Wildfire Music & News describing it as “an immigration story with an epic Western sweep.” The track is currently receiving international radio play across the U.S., Canada, the Netherlands, and Ireland, as well as strong support from Montana Public Radio’s 17-station network.

The single is featured on Joselyn & Don’s upcoming third album, Lost & Found Highway (October 3, 2025). Produced by Graham Richman (Lizzie No) and mixed by GRAMMY-nominated Kevin Smith (Ben Harper), the record showcases contributions from longtime Jackson Browne band members Mauricio “Fritz” Lewak, Bob Glaub, and Greg Leisz, alongside Tom Freund, Cristina Vane, Chris Pierce, and Abby Posner.

Montana-raised and Los Angeles-based, Joselyn & Don blend Laurel Canyon folk, soul, and classic Americana with a cinematic edge. Their music is described as “grown-up timeless folk music, deeply rooted in blues and the natural world” (Americana UK). With Lost & Found Highway, they continue their soulful exploration of memory, identity, and the American landscape.
