Stephen Mougin, the esteemed producer behind “Cambium,” recounts his initial exposure to the band’s rendition of “Reelin’ In The Years”: “I heard Full Cord perform “Reelin’ In The Years” a couple of times and it knocked me out. They have a firm grasp of the bluegrassy version, but also fully commit to the funky rhythm of the original Steely Dan recording. When we started planning for the album, I insisted that this be part of the full project. They dug even deeper in the studio and I’m really proud of the way this turned out!”
