Paper Diamond To Tour With Zeds Dead

Alex Botwin, better known as Paper Diamond, is a one of a kind artist who brings his own unique music to the table, a sound unparalleled to anything else around today. As he simply put, "Paper Diamond draws from an origami concept in that if you have a piece of paper, whatever your diamond shape is (simple or complex), that's YOUR art. For me musically speaking, whether it's simple or has a lot of layers, it's my self-expression. Paper Diamond is art". His aw inspiring musical creativity has landed him a spot working with labels including Pretty Lights Music and Diplo's Mad Decent. While using a variety of production techniques that incorporate stirring bass driven beats with catchy vocals and melodies, his distinctive work with synthesizers constantly create smooth moving hits.

As the summer festival season sets in full swing, Paper Diamond continues to turn heads across the nation with debut appearances at Bonnaroo, The Governors Ball and HARD Summer Fest. Never failing to impress a crowd with his energetic, passionately driven shows, and what a better time to see him than following the release of Paragon. The 11 track EP features artists ProtohypeGavin Turke, and Cherub among others. These collaborative efforts support his cross over appeal and showcases his signature sound – art. Having the ability to produce any genre and make it his own is the perfect portrayal of Paper Diamond's eclectic style and a distinctive experience with literally NO RULES.

Paper Diamond's very excited to be joining Zed’s Dead on the Altered States tour as they have always played incredible shows together. Other artists playing on the tour include legendary Hip Hop DJ Green Lantern, and New York producer Branchez. Featuring a lineup promised to please a wide-variety of listeners, Zed’s Dead delves into the tour's concept: "We all play different styles of music, so the idea is that your mood and 'STATE of consciousness' will be ALTERED throughout the night. We're going to take you all on a journey."
