Marcus King today announced a massive headline US tour, with dates through September and October 2022 supporting the release of his forthcoming solo album, Young Blood. He will be taking his stadium sized sound to esteemed venues across the U.S, including two nights at venues such as New York’s Beacon Theatre and Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Neal Francis and Ashland Craft support select dates, and the tour is hosted by comedian Dean Del Ray.

Goose brought another tight performance to the always delightful former tennis stadium turned music venue Westville Music Bowl, in New Haven, CT, despite seemingly ominous skies to kick off the night on May 28th, 2022. The band was on fire night two of the Dripfield tour to promote the upcoming album release with the same name. An almost ethereal Dripfield vibe permeated this show in particular, and radiated love to attendees.
After spending a decade on the road with Spirit Family Reunion, banjo player and singer Maggie Carson is announcing her debut solo album, The Dark Was Aglow, and releasing the first single from the record. The album, recorded in Rockaway Beach before the pandemic hit NYC, is a collaboration between Carson, punk rock producer Matt Walsh, and conceptual artist Or Zubalsky. The first taste of the record can be heard on the new single, “Your Ghost”.

The Beale Street Music Festival returned to Memphis after a nearly three-year pandemic-induced hiatus. One of America's oldest music festivals made its triumphant return marking its 44th anniversary. Today, the iconic blues-rock guitarist Walter Trout has revealed the official video for “Ride,” the title track of his 30th solo album, out August 19th via Provogue/Mascot Label Group. Arriving on the West Coast two weeks before album sessions began, Trout settled down to write the material on 'Ride' in his now-deserted house in Huntington Beach, California. But even in this beachside paradise, among the swaying palms and ocean breeze, the past came calling.
