Today, Daydream State announced the full lineup of performers for its third annual DAY IN • DAY OUT (DIDO) festival scheduled for August 12-13 at the Fisher Green Pavilion at the Seattle Center.

The Guess Who is a legendary Canadian band who enjoyed chart topping hits in the late 60s and early 70s with an impressive catalogue of songs including "American Woman," "These Eyes," and "No Time." During the course of its career, the band has released 11 studio albums, all of which charted in Canada and the United States.

The Rolling Stones have released GRRR Live!, THE definitive concert film from the band’s career. Released today via Mercury Studios, the concert film will be available in various formats; 3LP black, 3LP coloured white (Indies exclusive) 3LP red (d2c exclusive), 2CD, DVD + 2CD, BluRay+ 2CD. Slippin' Through the Cracks, a new musical about the legendary bluesman Bobby Rush is currently in development. An invitation-only industry presentation of the new show will take place in New York City on Tuesday, March 7th and Wednesday, March 8th.

Today, JAZZ RE:FRESHED OUTERNATIONAL, the international showcasing partnership between Jazz re:freshed and British Underground, announced the lineup for their UK Jazz Showcase at this year’s SXSW, taking place on March 15 at Sellers Underground. The showcase returns to SXSW for its sixth year and marks Jazz re:freshed’s twentieth year nurturing British jazz talent and propelling it onto the global stage.

Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley along with Compass Records are pleased to announce the release of their brand new full-length album, Living In A Song, available everywhere today. Go back to December 31, 2008 when guitarist Derek Trucks and his wife, singer/guitarist Susan Tedeschi, were preparing to ring in the New Year. Married since 1999, these two soulmates, equally steeped in the musical roots of blues, jazz, and gospel, had finally decided the time was right to set aside their successful solo careers and commit to a new band melding their vision and talent. It wasn’t the first time they had collaborated; they had shared a stage countless times and traded album guest appearances, all while starting a family together.

Today, the blues-roots guitarist Chris Duarte announces ‘Ain’t Giving Up,' his 15th studio album, out April 14th via Provogue Records. Featuring a wide range of outlaw blues, Americana, roots, and even alt-country influences, ‘Ain’t Giving Up’ finds the Austin, Texas guitarist teaming up for the first time in 22 years with producer-guitarist Dennis Herring, also known for his work with artists like Buddy Guy, Modest Mouse, Elvis Costello, and the Hives.
