To ring in the New Year - Wentworth Gallery is honored to present a collection of works from legendary Musician and Fine Artist, Paul Stanley. Since the artist's last national art tour, over four years ago, Stanley has created new original paintings, hand painted signature Paul Stanley Ibanez guitars, mixed media originals, and limited-edition artworks including new works on metal. Several of the pieces on display come from the Black Series that was originally commissioned in 2020 for museum exhibition. As with most events in 2020 that exhibit was canceled due to the pandemic.

Alma Mater is Dirk Sullivan and Andrew Paul Woodworth. The two are veterans of the Los Angeles and of the Portland, Oregon music scenes. Sullivan was signed to Interscope Records with his band Love On Ice and Woodworth fronted Elephant Ride, signed to Sony Records. They have since spent two decades recording and touring in various projects.

“Let Go” is a new collection of songs written and recorded by multi-instrumentalist Matt Dorsey. Stylistically it stands as a blend of all the artists and bands that influenced him including, Rush, Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, XTC, The Police, Peter Gabriel, Steely Dan and more. It can be described as progressive-pop-rock. On it Matt sings and plays guitars, bass, keyboards, percussion and, on two of the songs, the drums. Marco Minnemann provides drums on three tracks and Jonathan Mover on another three. Dave Kerzner performs a keyboard solo that he wrote for one of the songs.

High Definition Tape Transfers, as part of its bundle of new Judy Garland releases celebrating the centennial of her birth, is proud to announce its latest release in her honor, Judy Garland – The Lost Vegas Show – New Frontier Hotel – July 16, 1956, a previously unissued performance taped on her opening night, which was also her nightclub debut.

Today, multi-GRAMMY award-winning vocalist Kurt Elling announced a February 17th release date for Guilty Pleasures, a 6-track EP featuring guitarist Charlie Hunter and special guest drummer Nate Smith. Bursting with Elling’s trademark charisma, energy and showmanship, Guilty Pleasures features six high-octane covers, including Kurt’s new rendition of “Wrap It Up,” originally recorded by R&B duo Sam & Dave.

The single shows Underground Springhouse's reggae influence, keeping true to their established style while including many new layers of sounds. The music is a feel-good combination of reggae and rock, but the lyrics are a bittersweet take on the highs and lows of life. “I kind of wrote this song to cheer myself up one day” said singer Charlie Haas. “It’s about how life can be incredible one day and terrible the next, and everyone goes through that”.

Oslo-based American-Norwegian trio Buster Sledge releases their first studio album Call Home in May 2022, following up on their self-recorded and self-released debut Spirit (2020). Fiddle, banjo, guitar and three voices are the vehicle for lyrical storytelling against an orchestral background anchored in the acoustic music traditions of the United States.

Instrumental Prog-Rockers Consider the Source found themselves with the opportunity to collaborate on an unlikely merchandise item about 4 years ago. After a show in Michigan, long-time fan DJ approached the band offering to make a custom hot sauce through his company, Lost Capital Foods. What seemed like a pipe dream to the 3 musicians at the time became very real months later with a taste testing and refining of the original recipe.

“End in Tears” is the guttural and gritty first single from the independent debut album, Generations. Slated for a 2023 release, Generations is written and recorded by Nashville-based newcomer, Nightless Days – the collaborative brainchild led by Dublin-native, Seamus Ross. One of three songs recorded over the span of just three days at the historic EastWest Studios in Los Angeles, “End in Tears” conjures themes of admiration and envy while elevating the project’s darker tones through authentic and honest lyrics.

“Long Way Home” is the second single and video from Marcus Gad & Tribe’s upcoming new album titled Ready For Battle, which is scheduled for a February 10, 2023, release. Gad, the rising reggae star from the island nation of New Caledonia, returns here to work with his usual backing band, Tribe, for a more organic, roots oriented sound. A warm contrast from his last project where he and his producer Tamal dived into modern, programmed beats on the Brave New World album (2021).
