July Talk announce today that they will be returning to the UK in March 2017 for a second UK headline tour in just six months. This follows the recent sold-out success of their European headline tour, including three UK dates, and their current support slot with Catfish And The Bottlemen on their UK arena tour, including a date at London’s SSE Wembley Arena tomorrow night.
 

Leon Russell, born Claude Russell Bridges, who sang, wrote and produced some of rock 'n' roll's top records, passed away Sunday, Nov. 13 at the age of 74.

Leon’s wife, Jan Bridges, released the following statement:

“We thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this very, very difficult time. My husband passed in his sleep in our Nashville home. He was recovering from heart surgery in July and looked forward to getting back on the road in January. We appreciate everyone’s love and support.”

Casting Acoustic spells, Balsam Range releases their sixth album, Mountain Voodoo, on November 11, 2016 on Mountain Home Music Company. The band thoughtfully and respectfully adopted the name of a majestic range of mountains that surrounds part of their home county of Haywood, NC where the Smokies meet the Blue Ridge, the Balsam Range.

Mike's Fall tour kicks off in St. Louis next Friday before continuing east. Stops include Chicago, Burlington, Albany, Philly, DC and Mike's return to Nashville for the first time since 2011. The tour ends with the band's first multi-night run, with a special sold-out intimate three-nighter at The Sinclair in Cambridge, MA. Tickets are on sale now for the rest of the tour.
 

Ten months after Perpetual Groove’s post-hiatus return to Colorado, they penciled in another four-show fling along their current fall tour. With last year being their return to the stage, 2016 feels like the return to the norm, and then some. Wednesday and Thursday nights saw the band take the stage in Boulder and Fort Collins with two very different shows in terms of energy and song selection, which is no surprise considering the close proximity of each show.

The Emerald Cup is the premier outdoor organic medicinal cannabis competition. Every year thousands of event attendees gather at The Sonoma County Fairgrounds to learn about new cannabis techniques, technologies and hear from thought leaders in the cannabis community. This year, the panels will include subjects ranging from California’s Proposition 64, regenerative farming, to the importance of terpenes.
