When Eliza Doyle’s car broke down in Nashville in 2015, she found herself happily stuck in Music City.  The venerable banjo player and singer/songwriter from Saskatchewan had stopped in to see a festival and ended up enjoying an extended stay, playing in bars and meeting all manner of talented musicians.  Having been on sabbatical to follow her muse anyway, it seemed like fate urging her to keep on the well-worn path to musical fulfillment.

HUKA Entertainment today announced the star-studded lineup for the Fifth Annual Tortuga Music Festival, country music’s biggest beach party.  Country superstars Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan and Chris Stapleton are headlining its Fifth Year celebration.  The 2017 Tortuga Music Festival will take place Friday, April 7, Saturday, April 8 and Sunday, April 9, 2017 on the sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach Park in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Brent Cowles began playing the guitar at the age of 13. Within a year, he was writing his own music and playing in bands. At 17, Cowles began a solo career under the moniker You, Me and Apollo and played mostly in the southwest and west coast.

YES is excited to announce that drummer Alan White, who had to sit out the band's recent U.S. summer tour due to back surgery, will officially rejoin his band mates Steve Howe (guitar), Jon Davison (vocals), Billy Sherwood (bass) and Geoff Downes (keyboard) on their Japanese tour this November.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park makes the announcement that The Wood Brothers will not appear at the Suwannee Roots Revival on Friday, October 14 due to an ongoing medical emergency with one of the band members.
