On Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25, acclaimed Alligator Records recording artist JJ Grey, leader of JJ Grey & Mofro, will host the 2025 Blackwater Sol Revue presented by the Live Wildly Foundation. Today, Friday, May 23, Grey announced that, for the first time ever, the festival will be livestreamed around the world for free.

Veteran composer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Darryl Alexander will usher in the summer with the release of his soulful new single “Seen It Before” on June 27, 2025. When instrumental prog trio Consider the Source settled into Brooklyn's Bunker Studios in 2014, they thought they were recording a double album. At the time, CDs were the most common audio format, and the band had just worked through a large back catalogue of unfinished and unreleased songs with their new drummer, Jeff Mann. But as the recording went on and song times began adding up, the band realized they had a triple-CD release on their hands!
