The War on Drugs announce a slew of new shows in support of I Don’t Live Here Anymore, released last year on Atlantic Records and widely considered to be one of the best and “most complete rock albums of the year” (Billboard). The new dates extend the recently announced spring leg throughout the southeast and include a month of fall shows taking them to cities not yet played in support of I Don’t Live Here Anymore.

On Saturday, February 26th at 8 PM ET a free live stream of Goosemas, the annual concert presented by emergent Connecticut rock quintet Goose, will broadcast on The Relix Channel Exclusively on Twitch.  The band will take the stage at the Mohegan Sun Arena for the eighth annual iteration of their holiday show, a tradition that began with humble roots in the basement of a Connecticut recording studio.

Progressive journeymen Dopapod have released their new single “Grow,” riding an intergalactic groove punctuated by a head-nodding bassline, slick guitar, simmering cymbals, and smooth vocals. Soaring keys and synth lines crescendo as the song accelerates before returning to where it started, true to Dopapod’s palindromic existence. "The song could be about a character time traveling back to the Big Bang,” explains keyboardist and vocalist Eli Winderman.

Pinky’s Blues, the new Stony Plain Records album from award-winning blues guitarist/singer Sue Foley, scored a trifecta of nominations at the recently announced nominees from the Blues Foundation for the 43rd Blues Music Awards. Foley garnered nominations for “Album of the Year,” “Traditional Blues Album,” and “Traditional Blues Female Artist.”

This March, Flushing Town Hall will present a Women's History Month series featuring four, unique performances celebrating iconic women of music history — women whose talent, boldness, and originality overcame barriers in the male-dominated spaces of their time.

Ronnie Earl, a four-time Blues Music Award winner as “Guitar Player of the Year,” follows up the critical and commercial success of his last album, Rise Up, with Mercy Me, a new set of wondrous music with his long-time band, The Broadcasters, on  April 15 via Stony Plain Records. Mercy Me will also be released later this summer on vinyl LP.

Sadly, vocalist Al Barr’s mother was recently diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. Al, with the support of the band and his family, has made the difficult decision to not join Dropkick Murphys on the road for this run of dates, as well as the band’s upcoming summer European tour.
