North Carolina jam rock sextet Big Something have announced their first round of Summer Tour dates including stops in Colorado, Texas, Alabama and Arkansas plus festival appearances at Bonnaroo, Telluride’s Ride Festival, Mountain Music Festival in West Virginia and Summer Camp.

The newest single, “Starting Fires,” from twin-duo, The Hobbs Sisters, was released today with an exclusive premiere in The Boot. “Starting Fires” is full of rhythmic guitar, ranging vocals and solid harmonies and is as relatable as it gets. It takes you through the experiences we have all been through when someone is moving way too fast emotionally, all while you are just there for the fun.

Guitar virtuoso Julian Lage will be touring the United States in the fall. Beginning September 25 at Los Angeles, CA's Teragram Ballroom, this first leg of touring in support of his June 11-released Blue Note Records debut, Squint, ends on October 9 at Toronto, ONT's Axis Club. The dates pick up again on December 4 at (Le) Poisson Rouge in New York City and continue through December 12 at Nashville, TN's The Basement East. The September-October run will feature bassist Jorge Roeder and drummer Kenny Wollesen.
