Cola Concerts is bringing music back to Columbia with a star-studded lineup to kick off the new series at the Columbia Speedway Entertainment Center. The acts include indie rock duo and Charleston natives Shovels and Rope on November 14, retro-soul band St. Paul & The Broken Bones on November 20, southern rockers The Allman Betts Band with special guest Tab Benoit on November 21, Grammy Award winners Ranky Tanky on November 22, and country music legend Wynonna Judd on December 10.

Sci-fi jam scene shredders, Consider the Source, released the 3rd Volume in their “Fuck It! We’ll Do It Live” series.

Whereas the previous volumes were captured in front of live audiences, this version is unique to the times as it was taken from an all-improv live stream performance during the height of Covid-19 quarantine.

Announced last week, a star-studded event will be held to celebrate Jerry Lee Lewis’ 85th Birthday featuring some of the biggest names in music, movies, sports, television and politics. The virtual livestream, hosted by actor John Stamos, has added Ringo Starr, Keith Richards, John Fogerty, Andy Grammer, Kris Kristofferson, Peyton Manning and more for performances and well wishes for the “Last Man Standing” and founding father of Rock n’ Roll. Innovation Arts & Entertainment (iAE) and The Roberts Group have partnered to launch Cola Concerts. The new partnership will bring major touring artists and well-known comedians to the Soda City providing the live entertainment experience people have been missing. Cola Concerts will build a new venue from the ground up at the Columbia Speedway. An initial artist lineup for the Columbia Speedway Entertainment Center will be announced Tuesday, October 20 with live concerts set to begin on November 14.
