The Mimi Fishman Foundation has launched a new on-line charity auction that features many show used drumsticks and drumheads from Phish’s 2011 shows.  Every stick and head is dated as well as signed by Phish drummer Jon Fishman.The headliner of the auction is the “dress” Jon Fishman wore during the Sept 4, 2011 show at Dick’s Sporting Good Park in Commerce City, CO.   While Fishman traditionally wears (on stage) a mu-mu style dress with O’s (doughnuts) on Sept 4, 201

If there's still a few scattered embers of the fire of '80s punk, hardcore and the birth of D.I.Y., they are burning inside Bomb the Music Industry! Formed by Jeff Rosenstock as a bedroom project reaction to the serious business machinations of his former band, BTMI! was never supposed to sell over 10,000 records or tour the world. They weren't supposed to headline festivals or drive their van over 300,000 miles.

Jazz guitarist Todd Clouser is no stranger to the hustle. Some call his music jazz, some describe it more as rock and roll. Clouser’s style has strong roots in both genres, but will not be confined to either. Performances with his group A Love Electric run through 70s rock grooves, jazz improvisation and will often feature an alternate take on a Hendrix or a Nirvana cover.

As he puts the finishing touches on his as-yet-untitled second solo album due out May 22, SLASH--the iconic, Grammy-winning rock guitarist and songwriter--has announced that his headlining U.S. tour will begin May 3 in Baltimore. A fan pre-sale begins this Wednesday, February 15, with the regular on-sale starting Friday, February 17.

Perpetual Groove has been a staple of the Jamband scene for almost 15 years now. Their studio recordings have been received with success, but it is really their live shows and dedicated fans that have kept P-Groove on top of the scene and riding that momentum into their sophomore decade. Based out of Athens Georgia, P-Groove has achieved international success and are staples of the festival world.

Today, the Summer Camp Music Festival added Jane’s Addiction, the latest artist to augment its already robust music plan. The influential festival also released news today about its upgraded VIP experience and announced three intimate, indoor late-night sets for the 12th annual event happening May 25 -27 at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois.
