Al Basile, whose previous albums have generated multiple Blues Music Award nominations, announces an August 19 release date for his latest CD, Mid-Century Modern, on Sweetspot Records.

Celebrating ten prolific years with their tenth studio release, the Bay Area’s Beats Antique has prepared an epic cross-country tour leading through the New Year, taking the trio of David Satori, Sidecar Tommy, and Zoe Jakes between historic venues and festivals like Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, New York’s Irving Plaza, Louisiana’s Voodoo Music + Arts Festival, and beyond.
 

Instrumental rock-fusion quartet TAUK are proud to announce a new full-length studio album of original tracks will be released on September 16th, 2016. The yet-to-be-named album will feature Grammy-winning producer Robert Carranza (Mars Volta, Jack Johnson) at the helm. This will mark Carranza’s fifth project with the band.

The excitement from the kick-off to Electric Forest 2016 continued into Day 2 of the 6thannual festival.  On the morning of Friday, June 24 - whether having spent the night in a tent in the EF campgrounds, in one of EF’s Good Life Village VIP furnished European cabanas, or in a Good Life VIP Back 40 Log Cabin or Home - fans awoke ready to continue exploring the many adventures awaiting them.

The 6^th annual Electric Forest (EF) kicked off Thursday, June 23, welcoming 45,000 Forest Family to Rothbury, Michigan for a music and camping experience of a lifetime. The beloved festival sold out in record time again this year – a mere two weeks after tickets went on sale and prior to any lineup announcement. 

In anticipation of their new studio album, Totem, The Motet reveal today the official video of previously unreleased track “Fool No More.” The video brings alive the artwork from Totem for a funky, psychedelic journey through the album’s second single.

On January 1st, 2016,​ an intimate gathering of the UM faithful descended upon the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver for a rare Storytellers show accompanying the premier of our Reel to Real documentary. Taking time in between songs, we dug deep into the songwriting and lyrical process, shared stories of song origins, and cracked jokes in classic UM fashion.
