Country music fans around the world are mourning the loss of Buck Trent, a true legend in the genre, who passed away this morning. He was 85. Trent's name became synonymous with the twang of the banjo and the soulful strumming of the guitar. His star rose to new heights through his appearances on the iconic television show, Hee Haw, where his performances brought joy to millions, as well as The Porter Wagoner Show, The Marty Stuart Show, and more. His infectious energy, signature smile, and unparalleled musical talent endeared him to audiences far and wide.

In 2024, Gov’t Mule will be celebrating a major milestone as the  GRAMMY-nominated band, led by guitar legend, vocalist, songwriter and producer Warren Haynes, marks 30 years since its formation. To kick off the celebrations, the renowned quartet has announced the 30 Years Strong Tour for February.

Scott Tournet is best known as the frontman for Elektric Voodoo, a founding member of Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Blues & Lasers, and a producer. On September 9, 2023, he brought his solo act to The Bitter End in New York City, also known as the oldest rock club in the Big Apple, giving his fans an intimate setting for his work. In a celebratory return to his roots, the legendary bassist Les Claypool has announced the Adverse Yaw: The Prawn Song Years Box Set, slated for release on February 9th. Two decades ago, Broke Mountain Bluegrass Band emerged as a seminal force, igniting the careers of talents associated with renowned acts such as Greensky Bluegrass (Anders Beck), The Infamous Stringdusters (Travis Book), Leftover Salmon (Andy Thorn), and the Jon Stickley Trio (Jon Stickley). Now, they revisit the essence of their formative years with the 20th-anniversary release of 'Cabin in the Hills,' their singular album, recorded by former Ralph Stanley fiddler Dewey Brown.

Beyond his sheer virtuosity and versatility, drummer Adam Deitch has proven to be a musician of perpetual motion. In just over a year’s time, he has been the driving force behind psychedelic funk veterans Lettuce’s eighth studio album Unify, released a hip-hop beats album 'TAKE YOUR TIME', and now returns with the second LP release from his soul-jazz project The Adam Deitch Quartet entitled Roll The Tape.

Chest Fever blurs the boundaries between past and present with Music from Big Pink, a reimagined take on The Band's iconic release from 1968.
