Today, Do LaB have announced the musical lineup for the 20th anniversary of Lightning in a Bottle, North America’s original boutique festival taking place Memorial Day Weekend at Buena Vista Lake in Southern California this May 24-29, 2023. LIB will present an array of top-tier music curation, creative art and immersive environments, and educational classes and workshops — a furthering of its 20 year mission to inspire creativity and foster interconnection.

Often referred to as “The Hendrix of the Sahara”, Vieux Farka Touré was born in Niafunké, Mali in 1981. He is the son of legendary Malian guitar player Ali Farka Touré, who died in 2006. Ali Farka Touré came from a historical tribe of soldiers, and defied his parents in becoming a musician. When Vieux was in his teens, he declared that he also wanted to be a musician. His father disapproved due to the pressures he had experienced being a musician. Rather, he wanted Vieux to become a soldier.

Israel’s premier psytrance quartet G-Nome Project has released its own original rendition of "Pure Imagination," the beloved soundtrack selection from 1971 film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. The band’s reimagined take, cheekily titled a "G-Mix,” incorporates Shpongle-style production influences with elements of techno and funk to create an intricate musical tapestry. The single heralds the release of G-Nome’s debut studio album, Mouse Kingdom, arriving in 2023.

Today the Bozeman, MT, Americana alt/bluegrass band Kitchen Dwellers have announced their 17-date 2023 Spring Tour with support from Nashville’s Sicard Hollow. The tour kicks off on April 12 in Davenport, IA at Raccoon Motel. The newly announced dates will take the band through the Midwest, southeast, and northeast, before wrapping up in Milwaukee on May 6. Artist pre-sale begins today at noon local time followed by general on-sale this Friday at 10am local time.

This Spring, Pink Talking Fish will embark on a very special tour. 2023 is the 50 Year Anniversary of Pink Floyd’s album “Dark Side Of The Moon”.  PTF will celebrate by performing the album in its entirety for every show of the tour.

Beach Road Weekend Music Festival announced today that Mumford & Sons, Bon Iver and Leon Bridges will headline the 2023 festival. The headliners have combined for five Grammy wins and 24 nominations and have sold more than 18 million albums. The three days of music, food and culture will take place August 25 - 27, 2023 at Veteran’s Memorial Park on beautiful Martha’s Vineyard.

Good Vibez Presents, the team behind the now-legendary California Roots Music and Arts Festival, have announced the final artist additions for the festival’s 2023 lineup. Grammy-nominated Cali Roots-veterans Rebelution are set to headline on Thursday, Billboard Reggae Chart-topping outfit Stick Figure tops Saturday’s bill, and longtime fan favorites Thievery Corporation and Chali 2na & Cut Chemist join the lineup on Thursday and Saturday, respectively.
