A Tampa native and North Carolina resident, Christie Lenée took First Place at the International Fingerstyle Guitar Championship in 2017, was voted Acoustic Guitarist of the Year by England’s Music Radar in 2019, and was named Named “One of the Best Acoustic Guitarists in the World Right Now” by Guitar World in 2021. Even though her last release, Circle Round the Sun, was a best-of, her new record, Coming Alive, with its iconic guitar hooks and powerhouse vocal performances, feels like a giant leap forward.

The band’s 28-city North American tour has brought singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist/songwriter Pete Townshend back to the stage two years after their acclaimed sold-out MOVING ON! Tour. So far, the tour’s spring run has taken over 15 cities across the US with special guests Leslie Mendelson, Amythyst Kiah, Los Lonely Boys, The Wild Things, Willie Nile and more.

For the first time in his 30-year music career, Leftover Salmon’s Vince Herman is venturing into uncharted country music waters with the upcoming release of his first-ever solo album, Enjoy the Ride. The twelve-track album is set to release on November 18 via LoHi Records.

On a beautiful late summer evening September 21st Flogging Molly led an energetic 4 band line up of mosh inducing bands at Vina Robles Amphitheatre. The music started early while a warm afternoon breeze kept temperatures at the venue pleasant. Opening the show was The Skints, a young English reggae punk band with boundless energy. Much like the headliners Flogging Molly, The Skints tour relentlessly, honing their exquisite musical skills on the road.

A live version of Chick Corea’s “Spain” featuring Joe Deninzon, Rachel Flowers, and Testament’s Alex Skolnick will be on all streaming media on October 7. “Spain” is one of 16 live songs that will be on the upcoming Joe Deninzon & Stratospheerius “Behind the Curtain: Live at ProgStock” box set out November 18.  (There will be a streaming digital release of just the live music on October 28.)

Larkin Poe – the GRAMMY® Award-nominated duo of Georgia-bred, Nashville-based multi-instrumentalist sisters Rebecca and Megan Lovell – have shared “Strike Gold,” available now at all DSPs and streaming services. An official music video premieres today at YouTube. “Strike Gold” marks the latest single from Larkin Poe’s upcoming sixth studio album, Blood Harmony, arriving via their own Tricki-Woo Records on Friday, November 11.

Earlier this year, there was the Bowie extended-musical-family production – dubbed the Bowie Celebration – featuring former DB sidemen, such as Mike Garson, Gerry Leonard and Carmine Rojas, just to name a few.
