On Friday, August 26, Papadosio shared their first music since the release of their 2020 studio album Microdosio. The song “Not Just a Word” is the first vocal track that they have put out since their 2018 album Content Coma.

"One of my favorite 45s as a kid was the double A side of "I Get Around" and "Don't Worry Baby" by the Beach Boys. Their sound and energy stayed with me throughout the years. The recording of "Summer in a Bottle" was built starting with vocal and piano and Don Heffington on drums. I brought in Scott Babcock for percussion and timpani. One thing led to another and Carol Kaye (who played bass on "Good Vibrations") came in and overdubbed bass.
