The Roots were also among the most progressive acts in contemporary music, from their 1993 debut through their conceptual 2010s releases. Despite the seemingly archaic practice of functioning as a rap band with several instrumentalists -- from 2007 onward, their lineup even featured a sousaphonist -- they were ceaselessly creative, whether with their own material or through their varied assortment of collaborations. Nominated for Best Tropical Latin Album, this dynamic record finds the iconic group traveling through a wide variety of moods and styles while paying homage to the iconic New York Latin pop group, Conjunto Libré. The 65th annual GRAMMY® Awards will take place on February 5, 2023.

The Surf Hotel, located in the new urbanism neighborhood of South Main in Buena Vista, CO., announced it will host its first winter celebration on The LAWN New Year’s Eve. The evening will feature live music with Rapidgrass, hot beverages, and fire pits. This inaugural event will also offer visitors a free art installation spotlighting artist Brett Phares of lightStruct, who will design five digital light projections throughout South Main.

It was the right time to rock the night away, and Goose did just that for the second night of their ninth annual holiday themed Goosemas on December 17, 2022 at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, CO. The band continued the theme of drawing wishes written on green and red balls by audience members to determine the second set, as well as dusted off a pair of holiday rarities and more unexpected holiday shenanigans.
