Concord Music Group launches a new series of jazz compilations for the summer of 2012 that showcases the very best tracks culled from the recordings of some of the most influential artists in the history of the genre. The first five titles in the “The Very Best Of” series — which highlight the work of the Miles Davis Quintet, John Coltrane, Wes Montgomery Sonny Rollins, and Chet Baker — are set for release on June 12, 2012.

Watson, a 7 time Grammy winner, was an influence to countless acoustic musicians, including Jerry Garcia, Peter Rowan, Tony Rice, Bela Fleck and many more.
