A collective of over 140 acclaimed musicians across 5 continents, including bassist Tony Levin, have come together remotely to celebrate Peter Gabriel's musical legacy. Jeremy Nesse and Deane Arnold have been producing reimagined, new recordings of Gabriel’s songs.

In a project prompted in part by the remote spirit of the global pandemic, the musicians have managed to collaborate from as far away as New Zealand, Europe, and Asia.

Johnny Irion was spending time in Montecito at his uncle Thom Steinbeck's (John's son) compound when he and his friend Neal Casal wrote "No Hard Feelings" one sunny California afternoon in 2011. As the song was taking shape, Neal told Johnny, "I'm gonna go surfing and then send you a demo." Two hours later Johnny received the basic track. Just Neal—pure voice and his guitar.

The Renasant Convention Center was packed with blues musicians, fans, and music-world luminaries on May 5th, anxious to see who would be the winners at the 43rd Annual Blues Music Awards. Besides awarding honors in 25 categories, the BMAs, as is its tradition, featured performances from many nominees, with the gala ending in a jubilant all-star jam.
 

The Rolling Stones today release two previously unheard recordings from a legendary event in the band’s incredible 60-year history via UMe. “Tumbling Dice” and “Hot Stuff,” recorded at the Stones’ famous secret concerts at the 300-capacity Toronto club El Mocambo in March 1977, are out now!

At a 2016 Security Project show in Cleveland’s Beachland Ballroom, someone in the small nightclub’s audience was reacting to the band’s adventurous interpretations of Peter Gabriel’s solo music with wild enthusiasm. His eager applause and thunderous shouts of approval between songs cut right through the rest of the audience’s cheering. And Project drummer Jerry Marotta couldn’t help but notice.
