The Tisbury Town Select Board on Martha’s Vineyard unanimously approved permits to allow Innovation Arts and Entertainment to operate the Beach Road Weekend music festival through 2024. Beach Road Weekend 2022 is a three-day music festival, August 25 - 28, at Veterans Memorial Park, just a short walk from the Vineyard Haven Ferry Terminal. The 2023 dates will be August 24-27 and Beach Road Weekend 2024 will take place 22-25.

Island Records and UMe today announce the 40th-anniversary vinyl release of “A Celebration,” a limited edition 12” vinyl EP to celebrate Record Store Day on Saturday, April 23, 2022.

“A Celebration” is U2’s seventh single and was originally released in March 1982, between the albums October (1981) and War (1983).

Blondie, one of the most influential bands to emerge from New York's punk scene, will release a limited edition EP featuring one of their most famous, endearing, and successful singles – "Sunday Girl."

Taken from the band's multi-million-selling album Parallel Lines, "Sunday Girl" was originally released in 1979 and was the follow-up single to the band's number one hit single, "Heart of Glass," and was a UK number one and a top 10 hit around Europe.

Today, Bozeman, Montana's Kitchen Dwellers have announced the 'Wise River' Tour 2022 in support of the band's third full-length album Wise River, produced by Cory Wong (Vulfpeck).

Noel Paul Stookey first heard the term “fazz” when he, as part of the legendary folk trio Peter, Paul & Mary, toured colleges with the Dave Brubeck Quartet in the 1960s. By way of introduction to a song that would feature both groups, Brubeck’s saxophonist Paul Desmond used the term—somewhat derisively—to refer to the mixture of folk and jazz they would perform together.
