Today, May 6, UMe/Republic Records reissues both Deluxe Edition and Standard Edition LP versions of Eddie Vedder’s acclaimed second solo album, May 2011’s Ukulele Songs, the first time this record has been pressed on vinyl since its initial LP release a decade ago.

Pearl Jam’s own Eddie Vedder has teamed up with NASA to interview the crew aboard the International Space Station in celebration of Earth Day 2022. Apple Music’s Zane Lowe travels to Chicago for an in-depth conversation with Eddie Vedder, Chad Smith, Josh Klinghoffer, and producer Andrew Watt about Vedder’s third studio album ‘Earthling’. Vedder discusses his Chicago roots, touring the album, featuring his father on the album, his relationship with producer Andrew Watt, how activism has informed his art, the emotions that inspired “Brother The Cloud”, and the star-studded collaborations on the album.

“Can you hear...? Are we clear...?” asks rocker Eddie Vedder. “Cleared for liftoff... takeoff...” as he begins “Invincible” the opening song on Earthling, his first solo album in 11 years. The veteran rocker, front man for the colossal rock band Pearl Jam, brings forth 13 tracks of mid to fast tempo rock songs with enough personal touches to separate it as a solo effort. That doesn’t mean it’s a negative thing.

Eddie Vedder releases a new single entitled “Brother the Cloud.” It heralds the arrival of his highly anticipated new album, Earthling, available on February 11th via Seattle Surf/Republic Records. The digital pre-order/pre-save for Earthling just went live on all streaming platforms—HERE and physical pre-order (cd, vinyl & cassette HERE).
 

Due to overwhelming demand, Eddie Vedder and bandmates the Earthlings, have added a second Chicago date to their previously announced 2022 tour. The added concert will take place on February 10, 2022, at the Auditorium Theatre. Special guest Glen Hansard will also open this show.

Public tickets will only be available through Ticketmaster Verified Fan Registration. Verified Fan registration is open now through Tuesday, December 14 at 5 pm PT. There will be no general public sale.

Eddie Vedder and bandmates the Earthlings are announcing a February 2022 US Tour to kick off the release of Vedder’s highly anticipated album, Earthling. The shows will begin on February 3rd in New York City and will finish in Seattle, WA on February 22nd. Special guest Glen Hansard will open the shows.
