Modern retro rockers Coral Moons, whom the Boston Herald anointed an ‘Indie Rock Band to Watch,’ and whose debut album (Fieldcrest) landed on The Boston Globe’s ‘Top Albums of 2021,’ have announced a spring/summer tour canvassing the Northeast with two major festival appearances.

The full daily music lineup for Punk In The Park—headlined by Bad Religion and Dropkick Murphys--has been announced for the November 5 & 6 event at Oak Canyon Park in Orange County, CA which features over 30 bands along with craft beer tasting.

The Jim Irsay Collection, based in Indianapolis, has acquired a Gibson J-45 acoustic guitar owned and played by Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Janis Joplin.

Until recently on loan to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, this was one of two acoustic guitars Joplin owned when she died and is likely the only guitar she played on stage during her years of fame. She also learned to play her iconic hit song Me and Bobby McGee on the J-45.

Jeremy Garrett (a bluegrass fiddler at heart) visits the musical ground on which his career was born with River Wild, his new album out now from Organic Records. Jeremy will be bringing his fiddle science to Denver's Ophelia's this Sunday, June 26 in celebration of his new album. His ever-evolving band will feature Cody Kilby (the Travelin McCourys), Ryan Cavanaugh and local pickers Sam Parks and Denton Turner (Buffalo Commons).

The Jerry Garcia Archive, a new community resource created to preserve the historical and artistic contributions of one of rock 'n' roll's greatest legends, will begin accepting community contributions this August and host a benefit concert to celebrate the launch.

Kris Kristofferson will release Live at Gilley’s - Pasadena, TX: September 15, 1981 on September 2nd via New West Records. The previously unreleased & unheard 15-song set was the final date of Kristofferson’s 1981 tour and was recorded at the legendary Pasadena, TX honky tonk most well known for its role in the 1980 film Urban Cowboy. Kristofferson is backed by an incredible live band featuring Stephen Bruton, Billy Swan, Donnie Fritts, Tommy McClure, Glen Clark, and Sammy Creason.

The Palindrome loving jam quartet Dopapod, who masterfully mix dark and light, made lemonade out of lemons at the Space Ballroom in Hamden, CT last weekend after their original booking was cancelled.
