The Mimi Fishman Foundation launches a new on-line charity auction.  The auction features signed drumsticks and drum heads used during fall 2019 shows, the 2019 New Year’s run, and 2020 Mexico shows (the last gigs Phish played prior to the pandemic.)  In addition are items from the April, 2019 Ghosts of the Forest tour.  The auction is currently live and concludes February 11, 2021.

Today, celebrated rock/alt-country group Lucero releases their 10th studio album When You Found Me (Liberty and Lament/Thirty Tigers). Lucero reunites with Grammy Award winner Matt Ross-Spang (Jason Isbell, Margo Price, Drive-by Truckers), who produced their 2018 acclaimed effort Among The Ghosts. When You Found Me was recorded in the band’s hometown of Memphis, TN at the historic Sam Phillips Recording Studio.

Becoming a part of Music City’s vibrant community of artists and industry folks kept her busy, as she carved out her place living and working there, all while raising her young son. Originally from California, she commuted to Nashville for years; relocating full time was a leap of faith — one that paid off.

NY-based artist The Bones of J.R. Jones announced today his new EP A Celebration will release on March 19th. Inspired by the American Southwest, it was written on his honeymoon during trips to Tucson, Bisbee, Joshua Tree, and other desert destinations. The six-song collection is everything its title promises: a celebration of the thrill of getting lost in something new, whether it’s a landscape, a sound, a perspective, or all of the above.

On April 23rd, guitar legend Steve Cropper will release ‘Fire It Up,’ which he’s calling his first proper solo album since 1969, after decades of stardom in soul, blues, and rock and roll.

In these past couple of months, democracy was challenged, but voters prevailed. HeadCount is committed to keeping the voting and election process fair and trustworthy. We applaud the elected officials — from both parties — who honored the process laid out in our Constitution and spoke unequivocally about respecting the results of the election. Now, it’s time to address our election system itself. A bill is making its way through Congress to make voting more accessible, make processes more consistent, and address money in politics.

ECHO is proud to announce the Jimi Hendrix 2021 Print Series. This officially licensed limited-edition series will showcase some of today’s biggest and brightest visual artists, creating works inspired by guitar icon Jimi Hendrix.

First in the series is a print by artist Dirty Donny commemorating Hendrix’s performance from March 1968 in Ottawa, Ontario. This print will be available starting Friday, January 29 starting at 2 PM EST / 11 AM PST.
