CMA "Entertainer Of The Year" nominee Garth Brooks took to the storied Ryman stage for his first-ever full concert last night (9/8), at an invitation-only event to celebrate the launch of SiriusXM's “The Garth Channel.”  Curated personally by Brooks, the exclusive channel (SiriusXM Channel 55) is also significant as it is the first time Brooks’ music has been made available 24/7 in one place, on radio or online.

For nearly 18 years, Yonder Mountain String Band has redefined bluegrass music, expanding the traditional acoustic genre beyond its previously established boundaries by steadily pushing the envelope into the realms of rock n’ roll and improvisation. The production is fantastic as we find, as in a more typical Wilco album, instrumentation at its finest and beautiful guitars, bass, organ, piano, drums, vocals, etc. But now it is simplified.

To call them a jam band, is to under emphasize their talents beyond this style. True, they play long form, but there is never a wasted moment in their creative output, which was primarily instrumental, but with some impressive vocal hooks. Yes, they play long form, but there is never a wasted moment in their creative output, which was primarily instrumental, but with some fancy vocal hooks.

Today, Silver Wrapper and Purple Hat Productions are happy to announce the #HulaweenFL 2016 costume theme as "Stringier Things", which will celebrate vintage 1980s supernatural horror / pop culture, inspired by the Netflix TV Show "Stranger Things". We can't wait to see what kind of creatively kooky costumes are on display!

Saturday evening couldn’t come fast enough for this band’s loyal followers. The quartet walked on after a pre-recorded, mind-expanding melody drifted across the stage and established an ethereal mood. The Claypool-Lennon Delirium is all about sharp contrasts, deliciously, disturbing bass lines and rampant experimentation.
