Acclaimed keyboardist, composer and bandleader Lao Tizer today shares “Down” the first song and video released from The Lao Tizer Band’s upcoming album Amplify. The album which sees Tizer continuing to knock down boundaries and expand musical horizons is due out August 23. The inaugural Music Is In Our Blood Street Party is a free, public live music festival and blood donation drive hosted by the music nonprofit, Sonic Guild Colorado, in collaboration with the City and County of Denver, Denver Arts and Venues, the Downtown Denver Partnership and Vitalant. This free half-day music festival, blood donor drive and street party will be hosted in Downtown Denver on Sunday, June 30 from 3-8pm.

Dynamic Pennsylvania-based funk / jazz band Yam Yam has officially dropped their latest single, "Local on the 8s." Inspired by the smooth jazz rhythms that soundtrack The Weather Channel's local forecast segments, this new track promises to be a hit among fans of the genre and new listeners alike.

"Local on the 8s" was recorded at Progressive Studios in Elizabethtown, PA, under the experienced guidance of veteran producer Marshall Deasy. The track features a standout trumpet solo from acclaimed musician Michael Burton.
