While Calder Allen’s Dreamers Drifters and Hiders may only be his sophomore album, the fifth-generation Texan has been surrounded by a laundry list of legendary musicians his entire life. Shortly after packing up and moving home to Austin following a semester at the University of Montana, Allen brought a fresh batch of songs to his longtime family friend Charlie Sexton for a listen. Sexton agreed to produce Allen’s first album, connecting a huge circle for the both of them.

Improvisational rock powerhouse Red Matter returns with their latest studio single, "Sunrise on the Freeway," a charismatic ode to the thrill and nostalgia of the sun-soaked days of summertime. The Connecticut-based outfit’s anthemic new release is a compelling declaration of the band’s distinctive sound and boundless potential. Recorded at Horizon Studios in West Haven, CT by Vic Steffens (Sinkane, The Breakfast), the tune delivers the band's signature blend of soaring guitars, commanding instrumentation, and soulful vocals.

In an unexpected twist at the Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas, Primus turned a potential disaster into a stroke of rock 'n' roll luck. Coming off of a two-night sold-out run at Red Rocks in Colorado along their Sessanta Tour with Puscifer and A Perfect Circle, the band faced a new challenge when a snowstorm stranded their gear.
