With three successful singles – ‘Portable Door’, ‘Pictures of You’ and ‘Lazy Sod’ – already making waves, listeners worldwide have eagerly been awaiting Deep Purple’s 23rd studio album.

‘=1’ follows the band’s consecutive No. 1 albums ‘Whoosh!’ (2020), ‘inFinite’ (2017) and ‘NOW What?!’ (2013).

The first single will be unveiled on April 30th at midnight, a taster for the full 13 tracks of pioneering and rip-roaring rock 'n' roll. On September 14, 2002, hard rock pioneers Deep Purple took the stage for a landmark concert at the NEC in Birmingham, England to bid farewell to founding member and keyboard legend Jon Lord.
